Wig wig is a small hamlet at the start of Wenlock Edge in Shropshire. It sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is a site of specific scientific interest.
Wenlock Edge is a world famous limestone escarpment formed 400 million years ago when it was a sub-tropical sea.
Wig wig spring water slowly filters through the limestone rocks picking up minerals on the way before it is drawn to the surface and bottled on site. Wig Wig Spring water is free from nitrates (Non Detectable at Lab tests) making it safe for babies, children and pregnant women. Undetectable levels of nitrates is very rare in any bottled water and shows the purity of Wig Wig spring water.
We offer Premium Water in still and sparkling in glass and plastic (PET ) bottles. All bottles are 100% recyclable.
For trade customers using glass bottles we can collect your empty bottles when having a fresh delivery, bring them back and wash and sterilise them and reuse them. This is even more sustainable than recycling conventionaly.
Wig Wig spring water entered the prestigious 2022 British bottling institute blind tasting competition and gained a silver medal for our still water and three diplomas for our sparkling water and our sparkling flavoured water. In 2023 Wig Wig spring water went one better and won the gold medal for our sparkling water. The 2024 British bottling institute competition saw Wig Wig spring water win gold for a second year running for our sparkling water and a diploma for the Raspberry and Pear sparkling water.

Wig wig spring water tastes great and is packed with vital minerals.
Wig wig spring water is Nitrate free, high in calcium (82.9 mg/litre) and also has one of the highest levels of magnesium of any bottled water (45.3 mg/litre),an amazing 4-5 times higher than many other bottled water brands. Wig Wig spring water has a natural PH of 7.8 making it alkaline due to the presence of bicarbonate(HCO3).

Our water is available in 330 ml and 750 ml glass bottles in either still or sparkling and in 500 ml plastic (PET) bottles. All our bottles are 100% recyclable.
We have been Farming at Wig wig for 100 years and a lot has changed in that time, fortunantly the spring water tastes just as good now as it did then. The limestone rocks of Wenlock Edge provide many natural springs along its length,many which are very old. We have an old well which must be at least 400 years old built into the house.
